DEATHS-Saint Croix Courier-Wednesday, July 8, 1987

LESLIE-Unexpectedly at St. Joseph’s Hospital, Saint John, Monday, June 29, 1987, Mrs. Linwood Minnie Leslie, at the age of 74, widow of the late Preston Leslie of Back Bay.

Born in Back Bay in 1939, she was the daughter of the late Boynton and Mamie (Hooper) Hanley of Back Bay.  She was a retired packer with Connors Bros. Ltd., Back Bay, a member of the Seaview Pentecostal Assembly and a member of the Ladies Missionary Group, Back Bay; survived by her daughter Lois, Mrs. Horace Cook of Back Bay; two sisters, Mrs. Gertrude (Thomas) French of St. George; Mrs. Athena (Cecil) Leavitt of Back Bay; three brothers, Beverly, Hilton, Whitman, all of Back Bay; 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Rested at the Seaview Pentecostal Assembly, Back Bay.  The funeral service was held Thursday at 2 p.m. from the Seaview Pentecostal Church with Rev. Merritt Drost officiating.
