Malcolm Elmer Leslie left this world to walk on the streets of gold on Feb.
12, 2010, peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, N.B. Born in
Back Bay, N.B., on Aug. 21, 1935, he was a son of the late Elmer and Muriel (Hooper)
Leslie.
A loving husband, father, grandfather and brother, in addition to his loving
wife of 56 years, Irene, he is survived by his daughter, Susan Leslie, of
Fredericton, N.B.; two sons, Gregory (Rhonda) Leslie, of Moncton, N.B., and
Jeffrey (Faith) Leslie, of Homosassa, Fla.; two grandchildren, Andy and Vanessa,
both of Moncton, N.B.; two sisters, Melva (Robert) Howard, of
Back Bay, N.B., and Joan Leslie, of L’Etang, N.B., and several nieces, nephews
and cousins.
Malcolm loved nature and spending time in the outdoors. He loved his family and
will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
At Malcolm’s request, there will be no visitation or service. A private
graveside service will be held at a later date.
Anyone wishing to express their condolences or to share memories of Malcolm with
the family were welcome to come to the family’s home at 223 Lime Kiln Road,
L’Etang, N.B., on Saturday and Sunday.
In Malcolm’s memory, donations to the Arthritis Society or to a charity of the
donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
