Cooke, wife of
the late Myles Lewis Cooke formerly of Back Bay NB, in her 98th year.
Born at Watertown MA, on February 26, 1911, she was the daughter of the
late Melvin and Pearl Cooke. A loving mother and grandmother, she is
survived by one daughter, Darlene Robertson of Back Bay, one son,
Douglas (Shirley) Quigley also of Back Bay, seven grandchildren;
Lisa Miner and her companion, Ralph Young of Bridgetown NS, Kara
(Brian) Golding of Pennfield NB, Timmy Robertson of Kermeous BC,
Shelly (Garard) Arsenault of Oak Bay NB, Mickey (Amy) Quigley of
Florida, Lori Quigley of Portland ME and Douglas Quigley JR. of St.
Stephen NB, 14 great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and
cousins. She was predeceased by her first husband, Milton Quigley and
her second husband Myles Cooke.
Freda was a member of the Church of Christ at Back
Bay. She loved her cats and spending time with her grandchildren and
family.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home &
Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street St. George NB from where the
service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Friday
at 2:00 pm with Rev. Conrad Cline officiating, followed by interment at
the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home on Thursday
from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In Freda's memory donations to a charity of the
donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
