Pauline Hinds Sprague

1918-2008

The death of Pauline Hinds Sprague, formerly of Pocologan, NB, occurred on Friday, June 13, 2008 at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB. Born in L’Etang, NB on October 13, 1918 she was a daughter of the late Robert and Kathryn (Hinds) McKay.

Pauline was a retired Nursing Assistant, having been employed at St. Peter’s Hospital in Hamilton, ON retiring in 1970. Pauline is survived by several nieces and nephews and she had a special relationship with Sheila Spear and family. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Arrangements are under the care of Brenan’s Select Community Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row, Saint John, NB (506) 634-7424. By Pauline’s request there will not be any visiting at the funeral home. A private family graveside service will be held at St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date. In lieu of flowers remembrances may be made to Christ Church, Pennfield, NB.
