DOROTHY JEAN HOLLAND

The death of Mrs. Dorothy Jean (Strain) Holland, L'Etete, occurred suddenly at the Black's Harbour Hospital on March 10, 1978.

She was the wife of Ralph Holland, who survives her along with two daughters;  one stepdaughter;  three sons; one stepson;  three brothers;  two sisters;  and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Holland was a native of Sudbury, Ontario but had made her home in L'Etete for the last nine years.  She was a member of the Charlotte Center Ladies Progressive Conservative Association.

Many floral tributes and memorials attested to the esteem with which she was held by friends and neighbours.

The remains rested at the St. George Funeral Home with service by Reverend David Haddon. Interment was in the St. George Rural Cemetery.
