Mildred Viola  Buchanan
Peacefully at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews NB on Wednesday, December 05, 2007, Mrs. Mildred Viola (Kaglar) Buchanan, wife of the the late Clarence “Ted” Buchanan of Canal NB. Born at Canal on August 12, 1915, she was a daughter of the late William and Elizabeth “Bess”(Barry) Kaglar.

A loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend she is survived by one son; William (Carol) Buchanan of Utopia NB, two grandchildren; Randy Buchanan of New River and Lisa Buchanan of Utopia, two great-grandchildren; Sarah and Matthew, one sister; Dora (Ronald) Mitchell of St. Stephen NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her husband Ted, she was predeceased by three brothers; Robert, Otis and Willard and three sisters; Marion Dewar, Martha Vanhorne and Christine Hatt. Mildred was a very loving and caring person with plenty of humor. She loved travelling and especially shopping. Her other favourite pastime was spending time with her family and friends.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel, at the St. George Funeral Home on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Mary Ann Langmaid officiating with interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery in the spring. Visiting at the funeral home on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In Mid’s memory donations to the Passamaquoddy Lodge Building Fund or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
