Albert Allan Leavitt

LEAVITT, ALBERT A. - At the Saint John Regional Hospital on Monday, September 17th, 2007; Albert Allan Leavitt, husband of Barbara (Lesley) Leavitt of L’Etete, NB. Born in Pennfield, NB, he is the son of the late Addison and Alice (Justason) Leavitt. For many years Albert worked at Connors Bros. Ltd serving as a Foreman, retiring around the age of 60. Albert was a very dedicated Christian, known as a spiritual man.
Surviving in addition to his wife Barbara are his children Jackie McGee, Terry (Maureen) Smith, all of Back Bay, Tony (Wanda) Smith of Dartmouth, NS, (Ginger) Virginia (Ken Kingston) Leavitt of Norton, Carolyn (Michael) Connor of Mascarene, Spencer (Kelly) Leavitt of Moncton and Jessica MacKinnon (Chris) of L’Etete, 16 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters Jean (Earl) Aymar, and Etta (Vance) Cooke all of Back Bay, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Albert was predeceased by his parents, and 1 sister Edna Doucet.
Resting at the Family Worship Centre, St. George, NB from where the visitation will be held on Tuesday from 7 – 9 pm and on Wednesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm.
The funeral service will be held on Thursday September, 20th, 2007 from the church at 2:00 pm. Pastor Darrin Shorey officiating. The interment will follow in St. George Rural Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations to the local food bank would be appreciated by the family.
