Master Gage Alexander Cook

1991-2007

 Unexpectedly, following a tragic accident, at the St. John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB, Master Gage Alexander Cook of Back Bay NB. Born in Saint John NB on January 17, 1991 he was a son of Stephen Cook of Back Bay NB and Ingrid (Heuff) Cook of Nauwigewauk NB.

A beloved son and brother, he is survived by his mother Ingrid Cook (Todd Addison), his father Stephen Cook, one brother, Logan Cook, his maternal grandparents; Marius (Diny) Heuff of Back Bay, paternal grandmother, Freda Cook of Back Bay, uncles; Dewey (Betty Lou) Michaud of Perth Andover NB, Dyane (Joan) Cook of L’Etang NB, David (Donalda) Cook of Back Bay, aunts; Arlene (Bill) Johnson of St. Stephen NB, Anna (Ronnie) Leavitt of L’Etete NB, Patsy (Bob) Norman of Bonny River NB, Geanie Cook of Back Bay, Monica (Randy) Saulnier, Marian (George) Schroter of Mississauga ON, Audrey-Anne (Steven) Murray of St. Stephen NB, Romi Heuff of Calgary AB, Darlene Heuff of Austrialia and several cousins. He was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Cook.

Gage was a grade 9 student at Fundy High School. He was an avid hockey fan who enjoyed playing pond hockey and his favorite team was the Buffalo Sabres. He was also a talented art student who enjoyed sketching. A very friendly, caring and loving person, Gage loved socializing and being surrounded by his friends. Not to mention he had a giving spirit, as he gave the gift of life through organ donation so others would have a chance to enjoy life.

Resting at the Seaview Full Gospel Church, Back Bay NB from where the service will be held on Sunday at 2:00 pm followed by interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the church on Friday from 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9. In Gage’s memory, donations to MADD Canada or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
