Prior to retirement, Glendon worked for Connors Bros for a number of years and was also employed as a carpenter, working around the local area. He was known as a “people person” who loved to talk to everyone he encountered and enjoyed a good laugh. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing and hauling wood. In his free time, he was the “King of Washers”, often beating those he played against and Glendon couldn’t be happier or more proud watching his grandchildren play basketball. A special thank you to the girls at Eastern Charlotte Extra Mural for your kind words of encouragement. Your love and sense of humor allowed Glendon to laugh right to end, and for that the family will be forever grateful.
