At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on May 4, 2015, Elizabeth
"Lizzie" Louise (Daley) Hooper, the widow of the late Stillman William
Hooper of Back Bay, N.B. Born in Back Bay on October 31, 1927, she was a
daughter of the late Thomas and Louise Daley. A loving mother, grandmother,
great-grandmother, sister and aunt, Lizzie is survived by one daughter:
Doreen (LeRoy) Stewart of Blackville, N.B.; three grandchildren: Jamie
(Rhonda) Gillespie, Jonathan Stewart and Elsie Stewart all of Blackville;
three great-grandchildren: Kristen, Caleb and Kayden; one brother: Carroll
(Freda) Daley of Old Ridge, N.B.; one sister: Helen MacDonald of Kingston,
ON; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her
parents and husband, Lizzie was predeceased by five brothers: George and Ned
Seeley, Ernest, Darrell and James Daley; and by five sisters: Alice, Inez,
Mildred, Grace and Bernice.
Lizzie was a longtime member of the Sea View Full Gospel Church in Back Bay
and attended the Bye the Sea Full Gospel Assembly in St. Andrews during the
winter months. She enjoyed traveling, sewing, quilting and socializing with
her many friends. She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew
her.
Arrangements in the care of the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26
Portage Street, St. George NB. Resting at the Sea View Full Gospel Church
with visiting on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The service will be held at
the church on Thursday at 2:00 pm with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating and
Pastor Stephen Townes assisting, followed by the interment in the St. George
Rural Cemetery. In Lizzie's memory, donations to the Sea View Full Gospel
Church or to the Bye The Sea Full Gospel Assembly would be appreciated by
the family.
