Peacefully, at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on October 22, 2003, Mrs. Gladys Marie Bertin, wife of Eugene Bertin of St. George, NB.

Born at Medford, Kings County, NS on August 15, 1950, she was a daughter of the late Harden and Ruby (MacNutt) King. Gladys is survived by her husband; one son, Jody of St Stephen, NB; three sisters, Jean Justason of Albert Co, NB, Shirley Ingalls, of St. George, NB and Carolyn Holt (Don) of St George, NB; one brother, Mackenzie King (Doris) of Utopia; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by one sister Edith King.

Gladys was a faithful member of the St George United Baptist Church. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Thursday and Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Service to be held from St George United Baptist Church on Saturday, October 25, 2003 at 2 pm with Rev. Charles Yerxa officiating. Interment in Shirley Ingalls plot in the St. George Rural Cemetery.
