At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on October 18, 2012, Mr.
Kevin Ross Norman of St. George NB. On October 11th, 1962 Kevin was born at
the Charlotte County Hospital, to John & Mary (
Tucker)
Norman. A baby brother to sister Karen and later a big brother to John Jr.
Kevin is survived by his parents, brother John Jr., two very special nieces
Kristi and Jennifer and Kristi’s two children, Rachel and Tanner. He has
several aunts, uncles and cousins, too great in number to list. Kevin was
predeceased by his paternal grandparents, Darrell and Rosie Norman, maternal
grandparents, Clyde and Hazel Tucker (St. Andrews) and his ever loving
sister Karen Rose
Cooke.
Kevin has been a lifelong resident of St. George, attending the St. George
Elementary and Fundy High Schools. Over the years he spent his leisure hours
playing badminton, always working hard to improve his game. All who knew
Kevin remember when he got his driver’s license and his first car. He
started driving and never really stopped. Kevin loved driving the back roads
and driving to Fredericton Junction on the weekends. Another of his
favourite pastimes was to play games on the computer. Kevin was a devoted
and faithful fan of both the Toronto Maple Leafs and Toronto Blue Jays which
often led to good natured ribbing and barbs from family and friends. Kevin
enjoyed these times and would give as good as he got. Kevin loved his many
talks with Grammie and so enjoyed their notorious games of Scrabble and her
“50 lb. dictionary”. Kevin was a worker, as a youngster he could be seen
pushing his lawnmower throughout town, mowing various lawns. Later he worked
at JDI for a few years and for the last 21 years he has been a dedicated
employee of Connors Bros, Blacks Harbour. Kevin loved his little buddy, his
dog Rocky. No matter the time of day or type of weather Kevin always had
time to take Rocky for his walks, especially before work. Rocky has and will
continue to miss his best bud, Kevin.
