Stephen Percy Cooke
1964-2011
Unexpectedly at his residence on June 10, 2011, Mr. Stephen Percy Cooke
of Blacks Harbour NB. Born at Blacks Harbour NB on June 29, 1964, he was
a son of Mrs. Nancy I. (Wilcox) Cooke and the late Mr. John A. Cooke. A
loving father, son, brother and nephew, he is survived by one daughter,
Erica, two step sons; Peter and Timothy Haley and their mother Melissa
Haley all of Blacks Harbour NB, his mother, Nancy Cooke of Blacks
Harbour NB, two brothers; Richard (Sharon) Cooke of Belleville ON and
Gordon Cooke of Saint John NB, three sisters; Cindy (Roy) Steeves of
Rothesay NB, Patsy Cooke of Blacks Harbour NB and Cathy Cooke of
Cambridge ON, special aunt, Pearldena Theriault of Blacks Harbour and
several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Stephen was a labourer who was employed with Connors Bros. in Blacks
Harbour NB. He was an avid sports fan who really liked to watch a good
game of Hockey. In his free time he loved being around his friends and
family and especially his daughter. He will be missed by his many
friends and loving family.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533), 26
Portage Street, St. George, NB from where the service will be held from
The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Monday at 2 pm with Rev. Reg Ward
officiating followed by the interment at the St. George Rural Cemetery.
Visiting at the funeral home will be held on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm.
In Stephen’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would
