M. Lenore McGarry

 The death of M. Lenore McGarry, wife of the late John Thomas McGarry, occurred peacefully at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB, on September 1st, 2006. Born at St. George, NB, , she was a daughter of the late Edward and Mary Agnes O’Neill.

A loving mother, grandmother and sister, Lenore is survived by one son; John (Deanna) McGarry of Fredericton, NB, two daughters; Pat (Donald) Southard of St. George, NB, Jane (Stewart) Ingalls of Quispamsis, NB, 10 grandchildren; Rosemary Southard (Richard Malone), Jill Southard, Jonathan Southard, Suzanne (Scott) Mowry, Julie (Mark) Paulin, Shelly (Scott) Armstrong, Patrick, Rachel, Eric and Anna McGarry, one sister; Geraldine O’Neill of Saint John, NB, several nieces, nephews, cousins and by her special friends, Mary Eileen McCarten and Lorraine Leland. She was predeceased by her husband John, two brothers; James and Jack O’Neill, one sister; Frances O’Neill.

Lenore was a hard working business woman for most of her life. She was a long time office employee with Eaton's Ltd. She was an avid Bridge player who was up for a good game whenever she could get the chance.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533) 26 Portage St., St. George, NB. Visiting will take place on Sunday at 2-4 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated from the St. George Roman Catholic Church, St. George, NB, on Monday, September 4th, 2006 at 12:00 noon, with Fr. John M. Ighacho officiating. Interment will take place in the St. George’s Roman Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, for those who wish, donations may be made in Lenore’s name to the St. George’s Roman Catholic Church Building Fund, or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
