MARGARET DOYLE

Margaret J. Doyle, wife of Cecil LeRoy Doyle, died at the Dr. V.A. Snow Centre in Hampton recently. Born in Saint John, she was a daughter of the late Stewart and Belle (Roper) Hatfield and had been a resident of the Clifton Royal area for the past 19 years. She had owned and operated Elm Lodge and Doyle's Diner in St. George for many years and had also resided in Fredericton from 1958 to 1971. She was a member of St. Bridget's Church, Chapel Grove, and the Kingston Peninsula Senior Citizens' Club. She is survived by her husband; one son, Harry T. of Moncton; one brother, David of Kingston, N.B.; one sister, Elizabeth McNeill of Saint John; two grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Two brothers, George and William Hatfield predeceased her. The body rested at Brenan's Funeral Home, 111 Paradise Row. A funeral mass was celebrated at St. Bridget's Church, Chapel Grove. Following cremation, interment took place in St. George Cemetery.
