Saint John Regional Hospital Saint John, NB on December 5, 2003, Mr. Ralph
Eugene McVicar husband of Rita (Williamson) McVicar of St. George,
NB.
Born in St. George, NB June 27, 1927 he was a son of the late John and
Kathleen (Brown) McVicar. Ralph is survived by five daughters, Cheryl
Spear (Edward) of St. George, Trudy Lomax (Sheldon) of
Musquash, Maxine MacVicar (Kevin), Lorraine McVicar, Lisa Scovil
(David) all of St. George; two brothers Neil (Jeanie) and Clayton (Agnes)
all of St. George; four sisters, Marie Clow of Moncton, Margaret
Leland (Ben) of St. George, Marilyn Bonvie (Max) of Halifax, and
Rosalind McVicar of Saint John, six grandchildren, two great
grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by two brothers Arthur
and Harold and one sister Inez. Ralph was an equipment operator for the Town
of St. George for most of his life as well as serving as Fire Chief of St.
George for 14 years. He enjoyed his camper and friends at Beulah Camp.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB
(755-3533), visiting hours on Sunday, December 6, 2003 from 2 to 4 and 7 to
9 pm.. The memorial service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial
Chapel at St. George Funeral Home on Monday, December 8, 2003 at 2:00 pm
with Rev. Charles Yerxa and Rev. Bruce Cheney officiating. Interment will
follow at the St. George Rural Cemetery. |
