Percival Simpson

Percival Simpson was born at Waweig, N. B., on March 26, 1877, son of William J. and Ann Simpson.  During the Boer War he served at Belmont, Paardeberg and  Bloemfontein.  He returned to Canada in 1901.  He worked in the shoe factory in St. Stephen and Calais.  He was twice married.  His first wife died in 1915 and is buried in the Oak Bay Cemetery.  In 1951, he married Mrs. Helen McCormick.  They resided on Porter Street.  Percy died in St. Stephen on September 23, 1972 at the age of 95.  He is buried in the St. George Cemetery.
