Muriel Alberta Dodds

Peacefully, at the Passamaquoddy Lodge, St. Andrews, NB on January 12, 2005, Mrs. Muriel Alberta (McCullough) Dodds, wife of the late Horace A. “Buddy” Dodds, formerly of St. George, NB.

Born in Chamcook, NB on December 30, 1911, she was a daughter of the late Guy and Adelaide (Linton) McCullough.

Muriel is survived by one half-sister, Lois (Mrs. Gerald Baxter) of Saint John; three step-grandchildren, Joy (Mrs. Peter Slykhuis), John Dodds and Michael Dodds; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was pre-deceased by three brothers, Russell, Merle and Medford; and a half-brother, Orville McCullough.

Muriel was a member of St. Marks Anglican Church A.C.W., the Granite Town Seniors Club, and the O.E.S. Granite Chapter #15.

By her request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A graveside service will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery at a later date.

Donations to St. Mark’s Anglican Church, or a charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated by the family.
