Zelda Jean Turnbull

At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on October 10, 2012, Mrs. Zelda Jean (Leavitt) Turnbull, wife of Mr. Donald L. Turnbull of Pennfield NB. Born at St. George NB on December 18, 1939, she was a daughter of the late Chandler A. Leavitt. A loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, in addition to her loving husband Donald, she is survived by two sons; Donald Jr. (Christina) Turnbull of Elmsville NB and Dwayne (Angela) Turnbull of Pennfield NB, grandchildren; Robert, Mark, Amanda, Quintin and Josh, great grandchildren; Adysen and Easton and by several cousins.

Zelda was a loving and compassionate soul who loved to take care of others. She had a passion for wintertime and could often be found sewing and quilting.

As keeping with Zelda’s wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery, Pennfield NB with Rev. Gordon Cooke officiating followed by a reception at the family home in Pennfield. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Charlotte County SPCA would be appreciated by the family.
