Larry Allan Goss

1944-2007

At the Saint John Regional Hospital after a lengthy illness, Larry Allan Goss of Hampton passed away Saturday, January 6, 2007. Born in Saint John on March 20, 1944, Larry was the son of Eileen (Craig) (Goss) McLellan and the late Arlington Goss. He is survived by his mother and step-father (Fred McLellan) of St. Stephen, two daughters, Ashley and Andrea of Hampton, one son John of New Minas, NS, sister Sandra Christen of Edmonton Alta., two brothers, Gerald of Boston, Mass., Glenn of Fredericton, best friend to the very end and “chosen” brother Ray McGraw of Saint John, three grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles.

 

Larry was a lifelong fan of the outdoors, loving hunting, fishing, boating and camping especially around his hometown area of St George and Bonny River. He had worked for the St. George Funeral Home, Rubin’s Clothing Store, The Capital Movie Theatre, Lake Utopia Paper Mill, Memorial Gardens in Moncton and Ocean View Memorial Gardens in Saint John, NB Power and the Department of Justice throughout his working career.

 

Family will receive friends at the St. George Funeral Home on Friday from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm, from where the funeral service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel at 2:00 pm on Saturday, January 13, 2007. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
