Kenneth Osborne Hatt, husband of Madolyn (
Hannan)
Hatt of Utopia NB. Born at St. Stephen NB on February 9th, 1946, he was
a son of Isabella (
McNichol) Hatt and the late Arnold
Reid Hatt. A loving husband, father, son and brother, he is survived by
his wife Madolyn, two sons; Daniel Hatt (Louisa Madsen) of St. Stephen,
Joel Hatt of Utopia, his mother, Isabella Hatt of Blacks Harbour NB six
brothers; Arnold Jr. (Frances), Allan (Barb), Colin (Edna) all of
Utopia, Dale (Connie) of Pennfield NB, Brian (Jane) and David (Beth)
both of St. George, five sisters; Patricia (Ronnie)
Roy
of St. George, Gertrude(George)
Paul, Betty
Marshall, Jane (Brian)
Ward and Dorothy (Jeff)
Hanley all of Utopia and several nieces, nephews and
cousins. Kenny was predeceased by his father, Arnold Reid Hatt.
Kenny and his wife Madolyn were the owner operators of Utopia
Convenience at Lake Utopia. He was a carpenter by trade and enjoyed
gardening and heavy equipment. He was an avid outdoorsmen who liked to
hunt and fish and was a former member of the ATV Riders Association.
Kenny was a very friendly person who made many friends and attended
church at the Cornerstone Tabernacle at St. George. He will be sadly
missed by his family and many friends.
Resting at the Cornerstone Tabernacle Church (33 Manor Road) St. George
NB, from where the service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm with Rev.
Gordon Cooke, Rev. Reg Ferris and Rev. Calvin MacDonald officiating
followed by interment at the Bocabec Community Cemetery. Visiting at the
church on Thursday from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. In
Kenny’s memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society or a
charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
