Jean Eileen  Campbell
Unexpectedly at her residence on August 12, 2012, Mrs. Jean Eileen (Matheson) Campbell, wife of the late Mr. Archibald M. Campbell of Pennfield NB. Born at Bonny River NB on April 24, 1931, she was a daughter of the late George and Myrtle (Kinney) Matheson. A loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister, Jean is survived by one daughter, Connie (Ricky) Robbins of Second Falls NB, one grandson, Jeffrey (Alisha) Robbins of Elmsville NB, two great grandchildren, Brittany and Dustin, one brother, Melvin (Janet) Matheson of Utopia NB, two sisters; Bernice Thompson of Blacks Harbour NB and Joan Taylor of Bonny River NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to her husband Archie, she was predeceased by one son, Peter Campbell and by brothers, James, William and Kenneth.

Prior to her retirement, Jean worked in the Janitorial Department for Irving Saw Mill at Pennfield. She loved to knit and work in her vegetable garden and was known to make amazing pickles. She enjoyed company and no one ever left her house without something in hand, be it pickles or homemade mittens, Jean loved to give to others.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home & Crematorium (755-3533) 26 Portage Street, St. George NB from where the service will be held from the Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Wednesday at 2 pm with Rev. Darren Millett officiating followed by the interment at the Pennfield Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the funeral home will take place on Tuesday from 7-9 pm. In Jean’s memory, donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by family.
