MATTHEWS, Hollis Don - In loving memory of Hollis Don Matthews, 75, who passed away Monday, March 26, 2007 after a long courageous battle, at the SRH-St. Joseph's Health Centre. Hollis was born on April 25, 1931 in L’Etete, N.B.
Beloved father of Terri Matthews, of London, Ont., Kathy Martikkala (Asko), of Sudbury, Ont., Dale (Ghislaine), of Ignace, Ont., and Donald, of Vancouver, B.C.; cherished grandfather of Katie, Kale, Jason, Kris, Andrew and Dylan. He will be missed by his dear friend, Rita McBain, and by the children's mother, Pat (Richardson) Matthews.
Beloved son of Donald and Bertha (Wright) Matthews, predeceased. Dear brother of Herbert (wife Rheta, predeceased), Carol Hall (husband Jack, predeceased), Doreen Lyons (Carol). Predeceased by his sister, Anna Hope. Sadly missed by 10 nieces and nephews and several cousins.
Funeral service will be held in the Lougheed Funeral Home, 252 Regent St. at Hazel St., Sudbury, ON P3C 4C8 (1-800-461-0159), on Friday, March 30, 2007 at 11 a.m.
Interment in the Waters Cemetery.
