At Lincourt Manor, St. Stephen NB on November 29, 2013, Mr. Buddy Leroy
Steen, husband of Mrs. Barbara (Kinney) Steen of Bonny River NB. Born at St.
Stephen NB on September 24, 1943, he was a son of the late Dollard and
Evelyn (McCrum) Steen. A loving husband, father, grandfather, step-son and
brother, in addition to his loving wife, Barbara, he is survived by three
sons; Robbie (Patty) Steen, Danny (Angelia) Steen and Kelly (Natalie) Steen
all of Bonny River NB, one daughter, Kim (Jason) Johnson of Rollingdam NB,
grandchildren; Vanessa Johnson, Rebecca Steen, Rachel Steen and Dawson
Steen, his step-mother, Melva Steen of L’Etang NB, one sister, Sherry Steen
of St. George NB and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Prior to illness, Buddy was a well known and well respected mechanic. He was
an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and keeping busy in the
garage. Buddy truly loved and cherished his family and even through his
illness kept his grandchildren laughing. His humor, love and friendship will
be sadly missed by all who knew him.
As keeping with Buddy's wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside
service will be held at the Elmsville Community Cemetery on Tuesday at
11:00am. In Buddy’s memory donations to the Alzheimer's Society would be
