Mildred Mae Goodeill

Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB on October 5, 2004 following a period of failing health. Mrs. Mildred Mae (Cameron) Goodeill wife of the late Frederick A. Goodeill, of Jack Road, Pennfield, NB. Born on Grand Manan on May 1st 1920 she was a daughter of the late James and Lottie (Green) Cameron. A loving mother and sister, she is survived by one son Greg (Gail) Goodeill of Pennfield, NB, two brothers, Stillman (Ethel) Cameron of Fredericton, and Murray Cameron of Toronto, ON., one stepbrother Perry Stewart of St. George, one sister- in- law Caroline Land of Saint John, NB., several nieces nephews and cousins, including special niece Susan (Guy) Woodard of Saint John, NB., along with Pam , Trevor, and Hunter Stevenson of Saint John, NB. Besides her husband Fred, who passed away in 1980, she was predeceased by stepfather Albert Shaw, three sisters Ruth Cameron, Marjorie Stewart, and Leah Campbell. Mildred enjoyed Knitting, and Crocheting, and watching Oprah. At one time she was an avid gardener, Mid was a former member of the St. George Curling Club, and attended both the Wesleyan Church in Blacks Harbour and the Pennfield Baptist Church.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533), with visiting on Wednesday Oct 6, 2004 from 7 to 9 pm and Thursday Oct 7, 2004 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The service will be held at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel, at the St. George Funeral Home on Friday Oct 8, 2004 at 2: 00 pm with Rev. Grant Alcorn and Rev. Bruce Cheney officiating. Interment will follow at the St. George Rural Cemetery. Donations to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
