Margaret Wyoma Goss
Peacefully, following a brief illness, at Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint
John, NB on October 11, 2004, Mrs. Margaret Wyoma (Lewis) Goss, wife of
Rufus Berton Goss, of St. George, NB.
Born in Casper, Wyoming, USA on December 30, 1924, she was a daughter of the
late John and Laverna (Stratton) Lewis.
A loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived, besides her
husband, by one son, William B. (Peggy) Goss of Fredericton, NB; two daughters,
Gloria K. Taylor (Alec Montgomery) of Maces Bay, NB and Janet Maureen
Goss (Doug Wheeler) of Fredericton, NB; six grandsons, Corey & Jeffery Taylor,
Tony, Nicholas, Alexander and Matthew Goss; one sister, Madge (Bob) Gervan
of Surrey, BC; two brothers, Jim McDole (Rose) of Abbotsford, BC and
David McDole of Surrey, BC; several nieces, nephews and cousins. She was
predeceased by a sister, Lorraine MacKinnon.
At Margaret’s request, there will be no visiting at the funeral home.
A graveside service will be held at the St. George Rural Cemetery on Friday,
October 15th at 2:00 pm, with Rev. Charles Yerxa officiating.
In Margaret’s memory, donations to the Saint John Regional Hospital Palliative
Care Unit, or a charity of the donor’s choice, would be appreciated by the
family.
