Gerald "Jerry" Leroy MacVicar
1955-2014
At the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen NB on April 4, 2014, Mr.
Gerald “Jerry” Leroy MacVicar of Mascarene NB. Born at Blacks Harbour on
February 24, 1955, he was a son of the late G. “Lewis” and Jean (Thorne)
(MacVicar) Weaver. A loving father, step father, brother,
uncle and friend, Jerry is survived by one son, Philip Kee
of Alberta, two step children; Nick Porter of Bonny River
and Amanda Porter of Pennfield NB, two step granddaughters, two brothers;
Ronald (Cheryl) MacVicar of Pennfield NB and Stephen (Dot) MacVicar of
Mascarene NB, six sisters; Muriel (Harry) McLaughlin of
Honeydale NB, Audrey (Carmen) LeBlanc of Caithness NB,
Brenda Warning of Mascarene NB, Ada (Johnny) Barry
of Caithness NB, Ethel (Darren) Boudreau of Mascarene NB
and Stephanie (Glennie) Thomas of Sussex NB, two aunts;
Joanne Chevarie and Mary Thorne, numerous
nieces, nephews and cousins. In addition to his parents, Jerry was
predeceased by his step father, Henry Weaver, sisters;
Leona, Greta and Jeannie and by four brothers in law; David Savoie,
Wally Wright, Roy Greer and Robert
Waring .
As keeping with Jerry’s wishes there will be no visitation. A graveside
service will be held at Mascarene NB at a later date. In lieu of flowers,
donations to the Charlotte County SPCA or to a charity of the donor’s choice
would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements in the care of the St.
