Heather Cook Obituary-St. George Rural Cemetery -New COOK, MRS. HEATHER GAYLE - At the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John. NB on September 13, 2002, Mrs. Heather Gayle (Cooke) Cook of Upper Letange, St. George, NB, and wife of James Allen Cook. Born in Blacks Harbour on October 26, 1969, she was a daughter of Raye and Alberta (Matheson) Cooke of St. George. A loving wife, daughter, sister and granddaughter, Heather is survived by her husband; parents; one sister, Krista of Abbotsford, BC; paternal grandmother, Lois Cooke of Back Bay; maternal grandmother, Vera Matheson of St. George; several aunts, uncles and cousins. She will be especially missed by Lorne, Joan and Jill Leavitt and special friend, Gail Sinclair. An avid softball player, Heather enjoyed the simple things such as gardening and camping. She was a Toronto Blue Jays fan and was a member of the Presbyterian Kirk. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533) with visiting on Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. The service will be held from the St. George Presbyterian Kirk, St. George on Sunday at 4 PM followed by interment in the St. George Rural Cemetery. Visiting at the Church on Sunday from 12:30 to 2 PM. In Heather's memory, donations to the Charlotte County Cancer Society, the Presbyterian Kirk Memorial Fund or to any charity of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
