Peacefully, with her family at her side at the Fundy Nursing Home in Blacks Harbour, NB on December 22, 2003, Mrs. Estella Naomi (Wright) Wentworth, 93, wife of the late Preston Walter Wentworth. Born in Beaver Harbour, NB on April 30, 1910, she was the daughter of the late Herbert Alton Wright and Rachel (Johnston) Wright. A loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, she is survived by four sons, Norman P. (Marguerite) of St. George, NB Kenneth W. (Gwen) of Shawville, PQ, Douglas K. (Dorothy) of Keswick, NB and Raleigh L. (Susan) of St. George, NB; 12 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Estella was predeceased by five brothers and five sisters.

At her retirement, she was the Assistant Manager of Stedmans Department Store in St. George, and was a member of the St. George Baptist Church.

Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St. George with visiting on Wednesday, December 24 from 11 am to 3 pm. The funeral service will be held at the St. George Baptist Church on Friday, December 26 at 2 pm with Rev. Charles Yerxa officiating. Interment to take place in the St. George Rural Cemetery. In Estella’s memory, donations to the St. George Baptist Church or a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
