Pauline Elizabeth Campbell RN
The death of Mrs. Pauline Elizabeth Campbell RN, of the Fundy Nursing Home,
Blacks Harbour, formerly of Bonny River, NB, occurred on Saturday, March
12, 2005, at her residence.
Born in Bonny River, NB, on May 20, 1927, she was a daughter of the late John
Guy and Dorothy Ann (Brockway) Campbell.
Pauline worked over forty years as a Registered Nurse, working in Hollywood,
California, Maine, Rhode Island, and in Saint John, NB. She was a member of the
Second Falls United Baptist Church in Bonny River, NB, and had a love for
flowers, gardens and watching birds, and travelling with her friends to Hawaii,
Bermuda, United States, and Europe. She loved people and always wanted to do
something nice for them. She is survived by four brothers, Stanley Campbell
(Donna), James Campbell (Sharon), all of Saint John, NB, Gordon Campbell of
Canal, NB, and Calvin Campbell of Grand Bay – Westfield, NB; four sisters,
Evelyn Hiltz (Earle) of Moores Mills, NB, Josephine Frost (Louis)
of Second Falls, NB, Jean Ann Hooper (Richard) of Canal, NB, and Joan
Rousseau (Louis) of Ascot Corner, Quebec; one uncle, Ronald of Milltown, NB;
one aunt, Sadie Jacobs (Lewis) of St. Stephen, NB; several nieces and
nephews. She was predeceased by three brothers, Donald, Guy, and Harold; three
uncles, Hazen, Stanley, and Gordon.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB
(755-3533), with visiting on Monday, March 14th from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Tuesday March 15th from the Second Falls United
Baptist Church at 2:00 pm with Rev. Wayne Culberson officiating. Interment to
take place in the family plot in Campbell Cemetery. In lieu of flowers,
donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s
choice, would be appreciated by the family.
