KINNEY, JOHN WEBBER - At the Fundy Health Centre, Blacks Harbour, NB, on January 18, 2000, after a lengthy illness, Mr. John Webber Kinney of St. George, NB. Born in St. Stephen on June 15, 1930, he was the son of the late Charles and Winnifred (Hannah) Kinney. John is survived by two brothers, Lorne and his wife, Edna of Canal and Dwight and his wife, Linda of Second Falls; several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by three brothers, Daryl, Norman and Keith. John worked as a cook in the construction industry as well as the shipping industry, having travelled throughout the world. A memorial service will be held at the Second Falls United Baptist Church in Second Fall on Friday at 3 p.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery. There will be no visitation at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Charlotte County Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family.
