KINNEY, ALDON MILTON JR.
After a lengthy illness, at the Charlotte County Hospital, St. Stephen, NB,
on January 5, 2000, Mr. Aldon Milton Kinney Jr. of Second Falls, NB,
husband of Geraldine (Golden) Kinney.  Born in Second Falls on April 1,
1925, he was a son of the late Aldon and Nellie (Frost) Kinney.  A loving
husband, father and grandfather, he is survived by his wife, one daughter,
Christine, Mrs. Clair Monaghan of Second Falls;  two grandsons, Stephen of
Bonny River and Shawn of Oven Head;  two great-granddaughters, Jillian and
Stephanie of Beaver harbour; one brother, Harland Kinney of Elmsville;
three sisters, Lila Chambers of Second Falls;  Marguerite Craig of Bonny
River and Hazel Walsh of Brewer, Maine;  several nieces, nephews and
cousins.  He was predeceased by two sisters, Blanche McVicar and Minnie
Brown.  Before retiring, Aldon had been employed with the "Bridge Crew" for
the Department of Transportation.  An avid gardener, he enjoyed hunting,
fishing, and camping.  He was a member of the McDougall Lake Campers
Association.
Resting at the St.George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St.George, NB
(506)755-3533.  The service will be held at The Second Falls Baptist Church
on Friday at 2 p.m. Interment in the Church Cemetery.  Visiting at the
funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.Donations to a charity
of the donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
