Archibald Beney Obituary, St. George, NB ARCHIBALD COLIN BENEY
    The death of Archibald Colin Beney occurred at the Fundy Hospital in Black's Harbour, on Dec. 9, 1974 after a few weeks illness.
    He was born January 13, 1890 at St. George, N.B.  He was the son of the late Archibald and Elizabeth (Wallace) Beney and was the last surviving member of the family.
    The last four years he had made his home with his nephew, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Beney at Black's Harbour.
    He is survived by several nieces and nephews.
    The funeral was held from the St. George Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Fancy assisted by Rev. Kenneth Hughes.  Two beautiful hymns were sung by Mrs. Kenneth Hughes and Mrs. George Guptill,  "The Eastern Gate" and "The Last Mile of the Way".
    The pallbearers were Frank Breen, Emery Thorne, Kenneth Stewart, and Merlin Stewart.
    There were many beautiful floral tributes as well as donations to the Cancer Fund, Heart Fund, Baptist Church, Second Falls and the Wesleyan Church, Blacks Harbour.
    Interment took place in the Second Falls Cemetery at Bonny River.
