Sheila Richard obituary-St. George Rural Cemetery

02/19/2004 RICHARD, SHEILA ROSE - The death of Sheila Rose Richard of Breadalbane, NB, wife of Lawrence Joseph Richard, occurred on Monday, February 16, 2004, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB. Born in St. George, NB on December 29, 1933, she was a daughter of the late Walter and Myrtle Rose (Cowie) Henry. Sheila was formerly employed with Connors Bros. Ltd., Beaver Harbour, NB. Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters, Judy Eilersen (Torben) of St. George, NB, Suzan Canning (Danny) of St. George, NB, Lorraine Leland (Glen) of Caithness, NB, Penny Anderson (Wade) of L'Etang, NB, and Sandi Richard (Terry Ring) of St. George, NB; two sisters, Eleanor Daigle of St. George and Jeanette Sisson (Stan) of Ottawa, ON; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by two sisters, Carrie Johnston and Charlotte Paul; two brothers, Charles Henry and Sterling Henry. Sheila was a life-time member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 40, St. George, NB. Resting at the St. George Funeral Home, 26 Portage Street, St. George, NB (755-3533) with visiting on Friday from 7-9 pm, and Saturday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. A memorial service will take place on Sunday at 3pm from the St. George United Baptist Church with Rev. John Crawford officiating. A reception will be held at the St. George Legion following the service. A private family interment will take place at a later date. A Joint Legion Tribute will be conducted by Branch # 40 and the Ladies Auxiliary at the hour of 7 pm on Saturday at the St. George Funeral Home.
