Mrs. Prudence “Pearl” (Campbell) Kinney
1923 - 2006

Peacefully, at the Fundy Nursing Home, Blacks Harbour, NB on January 17, 2006,
Mrs. Prudence “Pearl” (Campbell) Kinney, 82, wife of the late George
Daryl Kinney. Born in Saint John, NB on July 25, 1923, she was a daughter of the
late Robert James and Gertrude (Brown) Campbell. She is survived
by one son, Robert (Joanne) of Second Falls; two daughters, Pauline Kinney of
Fredericton and Darlene (Robert) Berry of Utopia; three granddaughters;
one brother, William Campbell of Toronto, ON; one sister, Margaret Hoyt
of Saint John; and three nieces. She was pre-deceased by 11 brothers and
sisters. A loving mother and grandmother, Pearl enjoyed reading and walking and
was an inspiration and a joy to have as a resident at the nursing home.
Resting at the St. George Funeral Home (506-755-3533), 26 Portage Street, St.
George, NB E5C 3L6 with visiting Thursday evening from 7-9 pm. A graveside
service will be held on Friday, January 20th at 2 pm at the Second Falls
United Baptist Church Cemetery, Second Falls, with Rev. Wayne Culbertson
officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations in Pearl’s memory may be made to the
NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a charity of the donor’s choice.
