Mrs. Christine Dorothea (Larmer) Seamans
1925 - 2006

Peacefully, at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John, NB, surrounded by
her family, Mrs. Christine Dorothea (Larmer) Seamans, wife of the late
Harry Brown Seamans, of Canal, NB. Born at Oak Hill, NB on September 3, 1925,
she was a daughter of the late George and Carrie Alberta (Carson) Larmer.
A loving mother, grandmother and sister, she is survived by two sons, Terry
(Jean) Seamans of Milltown, Ronald Seamans of Moncton; seven daughters, Mary
(Harry) Dillman of St. George, Sylvia Currier of Addison, ME,
Debbie Cameron (Steven) of Ontario, Marsha Tinker of Lubec, ME,
Cindy Mawhinney (Dick Wing) of Bradford, ME, Wendy Seamans (Allan
Wilkinson) of Pennfield, Kathy Seamans (Walter Beach) of St. George; 16
grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one special sister, Rose Hall of
St. Stephen; several nieces, nephews and cousins as well as her precious Tiffany
and playmates, Princess and Shannon.
Christine was a member of St. Marks Anglican Church and was a short order cook
and pastry chef for many years at Carman’s Diner, formerly Bert’s Diner, and the
Sunrise and Sunset. She also enjoyed raking blueberries and making wreaths.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held
at The Gary E. Waycott Memorial Chapel on Sunday, February 26 at 3 pm with Rev.
Canon David Genge officiating, followed by interment in St. George Rural
Cemetery. The family would appreciate donations in Christine’s memory be made to
the Charlotte County Cancer Society, NB Heart and Stroke Foundation, or a
charity of the donor’s choice.
