Reginald “Taylor” Frye
Peacefully at the Saint John Regional Hospital, Saint John NB. on June 25th,
2006. Mr. R. Taylor Frye, 83, of Utopia NB.
Born in Back Bay NB. on December 12th, 1922, he was a son of the late Frederick
and Lillian Pearl (French) Frye. A loving companion, father, and
grandfather he is survived by his wife, Myrna (Hanley) Frye of Back Bay,
his best friend and companion Phyllis French of Utopia, one son Dwight Taylor
Frye of Saint John, two daughters, Charlene (Beverly) Spoffard of Back
Bay and Laurel (Teddy) Wright of Beaver Harbour, five grandchildren,
Nicole Bozinovski of Toronto Ont., Christopher Frye and Tammy Marriage
both of Florida, Teddy Wright of Ontario and Kenny Wright of Beaver Harbour,
several great-grandchildren, one sister Rowena Rae of Rothesay NB. and
several nieces, nephews and cousins. Taylor was predeceased by six brothers, and
five sisters.
Taylor was a carpenter, boat builder and fisherman all his life, retiring in
1981. He loved the outdoors and his dogs.
By Taylor’s request there will be no visiting at the funeral home. A private
graveside service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to
a charity of the donor’s choice would be appreciated by the family. Arrangements
