Identify Wreck As Plane Missing From R.A.F. Unit

    HALIFAX, Nov. 25 - (CP) - The wreck of an aircraft containing four bodies, found in wooded country near Minto, N.B., last week-end by two hunters has been identified by Eastern Air Command headquarters as that of a plane and crew missing from the R.A.F. station at Pennfield Ridge, N.B. since Feb. 26 of this year.

    The only Canadian member of the crew was Sgt. T.M. Otto, whose mother, Mrs. W.H. Otto, lives at North Bay, Ont. Other crew members were all from overseas, and their names are being withheld until next of kin are notified.

    Remains of the Canadian flier have been sent home for interment.

    The R.C.A.F. announcement said the plane was first reported missing Feb. 26 while on rountine exercises, and an extensive was carried out before hope of find the aircraft was abandoned.
