Blacks Harbour School (1930-1934). This school was located where the present school is. The first person to graduate from Blacks Harbour after going through the whole school system was Patricia Wallace in 1933. The school unfortunately burned to the ground on Mother's Day 1934. School continued (May-June 1934 & Sept-Oct 1935) in the jail located behind the theatre until a new school could be built.
