STATE OF THE MILITARY SETTLEMENT IN THE PARISH OF KENT
ON THE RIVER SAINT JOHN - JULY 1822

        In 1822 the Parish of Kent was in York County and its upper boundary was not well defined. It later became part of Carleton County. By 1851 some of the families listed in the following table can be found as far north as Perth Parish, Victoria County, so it would be wise to check all three counties for additional records.  CBB
