This photo shows Captain Stephen Mitchell and his wife Louisa taken in front of there home at Wilson's Beach. Stephen was born August 24, 1842 at Campobello, son of Nehemiah and Sarah Parker Mitchell. Stephen was married twice: 1. to Sarah Mitchell (Mitchell being her maiden name) and they had a large family of 6 children. 2. to Louisa Moses. Louisa was the daughter of Robert Arthur Moses and Catherine Zan, who were residents of near by Indian Island. Stephen died September 12, 1915 at Campobello and is buried at the Old Wilson's Beach Cemetery. Submitted by Jackie Vriezen Added 15/1/2002
