Campobello Scrapbook

Campobello Scrapbook

Added December 2007

I would like to say "THANK YOU" to Larry Fletcher who allowed me to borrow a "scrapbook" containing over 150 pages of newspaper articles pertaining to Campobello, Lubec and Eastport. These articles begin as early as 1876 and go into the 1970's. In most cases the name of the newspaper is not provided. It is assumed alot of them came from the "Eastport Sentinal". The articles were collected over the years by Larry's Aunt Evelyn Fletcher. Larry came into ownership of the book after her passing. I will be adding articles over time from this book. Some articles are about the early history of the Island. Some of the articles are rather large.
