The death of Melda Madeline Clark occurred at the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home on June 21, 2003. Born in Wilsons Beach, Campobello she was the daughter of the late Arthur and Minnie (Matthews) Calder. Predeceased by 1st husband, Hermen Finley, 2nd husband, Graham Clark and brother Melvin Calder.
Survived by sister-in-law, Josephine Calder of St. Andrews; niece, Mary Guinan (Tom) of Truro; nephews, Hugh Calder (Elaine) of Edmunton and Gerald James (Pat) of Dipper Harbour; great niece and nephew, Brianna and Joshua.
A memorial service will be held 2 pm on Tuesday June 24 from All Saints Anglican Church with Canon John Matheson officiating. Interment will take place at the St. Andrews Rural Cemetery. For those who wish, donations to the Passamaquoddy Lodge Nursing Home or to a charity of the donors choice would be appreciated. Marion Elaine Newman Clark, 73, wife of George "Doug" Clark and daughter of Madge and Leo Newman, met the bright morning star and was gently lifted by Jesus to be with him, and once again with Doug and those who predeceased her on this journey, Jan. 29, 2004. Marion is survived by her four sons, Julian M. Ross, Dale A. Clark, John D. Clark, Leon E. Clark. Eternal thanks to the staff at Marshall Health Care of Machias, whose loving kindness and care are cherished. The family humbly invites all who would, to visit Marion and Doug at Arlington National Cemetery, where our Nation honors their personal sacrifice.

LUBEC - John D. Clark, 47, passed away Aug. 2, 2005, at his home. John was born May 19, 1958, in Uclid, Ohio, son to the late George and Marion Clark of Lubec. John enjoyed working on automobiles and was always around to lend a helping hand. John is survived by three brothers, Dale A. Clark of Panama City, Fla., Julian Ross of Machias, and Leon "Tubby" Clark of Lubec. John will be sadly missed by family and friends. Service will be set at a later date.

CLARK, Barbara E. (Nugent), 94 LUBEC - Barbara E. (Nugent) Clark, 94, died April 5, 2000, at a Lubec nursing home. She was born at Machias, the daughter of Harry and Addie Mcabe. She was the wife of William F. Nugent, Carroll M. Brown and Percy L. Clark. She taught music in the Lubec school system and played the organ in both the Lubec and Machias Catholic churches. She continued playing at Holy Name Catholic Church, Machias, into her mid 80s.
She is survived by a son, Francis E. Nugent and wife, Nan of Chesapeake, Va.; a daughter-in-law, Maxine Nugent of Bangor; seven grandchildren, Joan Jensen and husband, Steven of Idaho Falls, Id., Gwynn Nugent of Chesapeake, Va., Patrick Brian Nugent and wife, Dimatra of Medford, N.Y., Michelle Blevins and husband of Louisianna, Sharon Wearmouth, Barbara Holliman and husband, Joe, all of Alabama, and Steven Gray of California; three nieces, two nephews and one special grandniece, Jean Marie Ingalls of Machias.
The family will receive friends at the Gardner-Hall Funeral Home, from 2-4 p.m. Sunday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10 a.m. Monday at the Holy Name Catholic Church, Machias. Interment will be at Correy Cemetery, Lubec. Memorial donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund, 6110 Executive Blvd., Rockville, Md. 20852.
