(Newspaper clipping. loose) Mr. and Mrs. Leonard P. Simpson, of Campobello, desire through The Beacon to extend their heartfelt thanks to those kind and sympathetic friends, who so willingly assisted them in the hour of sickness and death of their beloved granddaughter, Reba M. Banks.

Ah! silent the dwelling where laughter once rippled; the voice of our dear one is hushed in the grave; Her fair face no longer with smiles illumined, For God hath reclaimed what so lately He gave, Yes! He hath recalled her to shine in His kingdom, A jewel resplendent His crown to adorn; And sadly we mourn her, but are not despairing, For now like a lamb in His bosom she's borne. We know that our darling hath passed into glory Beyond our dark world and its sorrow hath sored; And trust in the fullness of time we shall join her, Forever to rest in the arms of the Lord. -H. H.
