* The Jeremiah Newman Obituary is difficult to read, here are some facts: he was the son of Jeremiah and Phoebe (Fitzgerald) Newman. He was married to Adelia L. Beaney on January 1_ 1915. He was survived by his wife, son Blair and grandson Robert. Also surviving him were brothers Sewall and Burton Newman of Wilson's Beach.
The following are 2 different copies of an announcement concerning the death of Jeremiah Newman. These being a little easier to read than the above copy. Jeremiah died in Eastport Maine on September 6 1949. Thanks to Donna Newman for this submission. Added April 2008
