Christy Vincent Mathews was born on Campobello in June 1876. He married Margaret "Maggie" MILLER who was from the "United States". Vincent and Margaret had two sons Arnold Wilfred (the oldest) and Michael Vincent. They raised there neice Genevieve Awilda PORTER after her mother Genevieve died at the time of the birth in 1911. Genevieve Alwilda married Blan Fletcher. She also took on the surname of MATHEWS (although never legally) and was "raised" with the surname MATHEWS. (Photo taken in 1915).
