Captain Christopher "Christy" Mathews was born at Campobello in September 1845 he died there in June 1935. He was the son of Stephen and Frances Mathews. Christy's son Vincent Mathews was born on Campobello in June 1876. Submitted by Melody Flynn Added January 2007
