Campobello People in Photographs and Images

I would like these pages to contain photographs of island scenes and "old photo's" of residents who have since passed away. If you have photographs or "postcards" that you would like to contribute but do not have a "scanner" to send it as an email attachment, you can mail it to me and I will be happy to scan it onto the site and send it back to you. If you can help with this page, please feel free to contact me.

Pictures tend to take up alot of web space, as a result I have a few limitations that I must put in effect:

The person or persons must have lived on Campobello in their life time.

As complete personal information as possible, e.g. birth date, death date, parents, and
spouse. This will make it easier for others to identify common ancestors.

I prefer photographs to be in jpg or gif format

**Special thanks to the Campobello Museum and Library who gave permission to have these photo's used on the site**

In August 2003 I spent a couple days on Campobello and had a chance to get to the library and museum for a hour or so. All of the photos below were on display and these are copies I took with my digital camera. Some were on display at the time on the walls, others were in a binder. For more information on the library please click on this link.

If anyone can tell me WHERE in Wilson's Beach this place would have been "today" please let me know... Thanks! Submitted by Heather Waddingham

Do you Recognize this Person??

The following pictures have all been submitted by various people. If you recognize someone please let us know so we may identify them here and perhaps help someone else at the same time. If you have pictures of people but have no idea "who" they are, I would be happy to post them as well.

In January 2002 I had a "computer crash" of sorts and a number of files were lost. I have been able to recover a number of photo's that had been sent to me previously for the site. Unfortunately, I have lost the corresponding email's that were sent with the attachments as as a result I now have a number of photo's but don't know "who" they are. I will post the photo's here. If you recognize anyone please let me know and I will update that photo with the correct information as soon as possible. After viewing these photo's please click your "back button" on your browser as I have not placed links on these photo pages as they are all going to be "temporary"... hopefully! Thanks!!
