The following Cemeteries and churches are located in Campobello. If anyone can give me driving directions (miles/kilometers) to any of these locations, I would greatly appreciate it. Starting point for driving purposes would be Customs Building at the end of the Bridge when you reach the island.

Campobello Cemetery Photo's

The following photo's have been graciously donated for use on the site by a number of people. (Some of the names are actually listed as well in the cemetery transcriptions below.) Anglican Church Cemetery. This listing was transcribed in 1902. The transcription is stated as being the "Graveyard at the Church of England, Welchpool" which is now know as the cemetery at St. Ann's Anglican Church. For a 2001 Transcription see link below...

Miscellaneous Information. Contains information where only one or two surnames in particular names have been transcribed from island cemeteries.
Not well known or easily identified is a graveyard near Curry's Cove, Wilson's Beach. (Curry's Cove is located near "Windmill Point"). The graveyard is small, overgrown and missing some headstones and markers. It was known as "Cook's Cemetery" at one time. Here are some photo's of some of the remaining stones.
Campobello Burying Ground - This listing was transcribed in 1902. The transcription is stated as being the "Campobello Burying Ground" which is now know to be part of the cemetery at St. Ann's Anglican Church. This is located in a very old part of the cemetery as the dates on the transcriptions indicate. For a 2001 Transcription see link below...

St. Timothy's Catholic Church

St. Timothys was not built until 1911 and therefore their records are not yet made public. Even for pre - 1900 churches, the records are not available to be posted on the Internet. They will try to answer all inquiries however. St Timothy's, in Campobello, is administered by the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception in Saint John. St. Ann's Anglican Church

Photographs

Three photographs have been donated for the site. The first two are of the church itself. One taken in 1946 and a more recent photo taken in 2001. The third photo is that of the church hall.

Here are photo's of two plaques in the church. The first one was placed in memory of Portia Owen . The second photo is the Honour Roll Listing of those who served in the war.
