Mary Ann was born around 1836-1837 at Queensbury NB to William and Mary Burden. She later moved to Campobello when she married Ebenezer (Eben) Calder where they raised a family of 5 children. Her sister Joanna Burden Flagg lived on Campobello as well. Mary Ann died in October 1908 on the island. Mary Ann's obituary is located at this page . Submitted by Ken Beach. Added November 15, 2003
